Adjustment is Simple


After selecting Sideshield, some minor adjustments may be necessary to obtain proper fit. Our exclusive LivingHinge™, permits adjustments to larger, average and smaller frames.

Larger Frames:
Open Sideshield until slightly smaller than frame size and install.
Average Frames:
Ensure Sideshield is slightly smaller than frame size and install.
Smaller Frames:
Close Sideshield until slightly smaller than frame size and install.

Sideshields / side shield safety glasses from Safety Optical Service were placed in service in 1963. Equipment accessory sideguards for eye protectors effectively shield the eye from injuries. SOS models are Z87 and B-52®.
